　アーニー・グンダーセンさんは１８日、シアトルの映像作家、クリス・ノーランド氏のChrisNolandTVで、以下のように発言した。

　問題はどんな想定でセシウムの放出量を計算しているか、だ。

　日本側の説明は放射性セシウムの９９％が（原子炉内）に残留したという想定によるもの。

　しかし、最近、明らかにされたオーストラリアの研究では、９０％が炉内に残っていた。

　差し引き、１０％近く。

　大した違いではないように見えるが、オーストラリアの研究では日本側の言うものの１０倍もが放出された、ということだ。
　The question is what are the various people calculating doses assuming for … cesium?

　I’ve seen the Japanese assume that 99% was retained [inside the reactors].

　There’s an Australian study out though that shows 90% was contained. That doesn’t sound like a lot but that’s in fact 10 times more cesium the Australians are assuming than are the Japanese.
