　米国のスチーブン・チュ・エネルギー長官は２０日、フォックス・ニュース（ＴＶ）で、「一刻一刻、一日一日、事態はよりコントロールされている」と語った。

Steven Chu, the United States secretary of energy, also conveyed optimism in an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” saying that “with each passing hour, each passing day, things are more under control.” Japanese technicians who are trying to limit the spread of radiation “are making very good progress,” he said.
